On the daily, I’m satisfying my inner Cookie Monster with chocolate chip cookies from one of two places: Publix or Chick-fil-A.
I am telling you that you do not need to look any further. Stop it. C’s get degrees.
Publix cookies are a childhood staple. We didn’t shop at Publix much when I was younger so I was always excited when we got to go so I could grab a free cookie. Now – adult Heather, gets them buy one, get one. Yep, this week. Run. They are thin and chewy. Perfect for a sweet treat and kid’s lunch box friendly.
It’s hard for me to admit this, but someone put me on to the game like 2 years ago when it comes to the cookies at Chick-fil-A. I had no idea how amazing they were. I thought it was hype. I told the girl I didn’t want one and she brought me one anyway. Honestly there isn’t a comparison. They are always warm and gooey. However they have a crunch around the edges that is just enough texture. These cookies are the bomb. Trust me. However, don’t try to eat them while driving. Hot mess. Chocolate everywhere.
Cookies do not last long in our house so I promise you can trust my judgement.
Plus, National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day was August 4th, so you have to have cookies this week. It’s mandatory.
